The feast of Saint Agatha is inseparable from the traditional parade of the "Candelore", huge candles covered with handmade decorations, gilded wooden cherubs, saints and scenes of martyrdom, flowers and flags.

Every year on 3, 4 and 5 February Catania offers its patron saint such an extraordinary feast that it can only be compared to Holy Week in Seville or Corpus Christi in Cuzco, Peru.
