Museo Civico Castello Ursino

Ursino castle(the origin of the name is not sure),was built by Federico II di Svevia, between the 1939 and the 1250, as part of a campaign of fortification along the empire's border. The encharger for the building was Riccardo da Lentini.

Historical museum of the landing in Sicily

The historical museum of the landing in Sicily-1943 is located in three flors and cover a surface of 3000 square meters. It reconstructs, through original period objects, documents and environments that recreate living conditions before and during the Allied landing

Verga's house museum

It's a national monument since 1940,Verga's house today is a regional museum. Four showcase exposed Verga's manuscript reproductions. In Verga's house you can even see a decorated perchament by Alessandro Abate.
